I have a background in quantitative genetics, genomics, and computational biology. I believe in articulating decisive hypotheses and collecting reliable data. To fulfill these ideals, I have acquired extensive experience in experimental biology (especially on the model organism Drosophila melanogaster) and statistics (especially in modeling multilevel as well as high-dimensional data). My hobbies include reading about the philosophy of science (the works of Karl Popper), evolutionary psychology (Steven Pinker), and data visualization best practices (Edward Tufte).
